About Ashton

Ashton Webb, Clinical Graduate Intern

Meet Ashton!

Meet our clinical intern! Ashton Webb is a graduate student intern supervised by Jessica Richards, LPC, LMFT, CPCS. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Her expected graduation date is December of 2025. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Kennesaw State University, Ashton offers a unique approach to therapy by blending art, creativity, and expressive modalities within her clinical work. She works with pre-teens and teens.

Some areas of focus for Ashton are individuals affected by divorce, trauma, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, body image issues, and relational conflict. Additionally, Ashton draws on narrative therapy techniques to help clients reframe their life stories and develop a sense of empowerment and healing. This form of therapy is a popular approach with older children and adolescents, as it allows them to appropriately externalize problems, deconstruct these problems, and collaboratively problem solve to create new endings.

Ashton is committed to providing a compassionate, non-judgmental space for her clients to express their big feelings and to process life’s challenges. She goes the extra mile so her clients feel welcome to share freely.

Outside of the therapy room, Ashton enjoys spending time with her friends, playing board games with her family, and being with her two dogs, Poppyseed and Winnie. She spends her free time weightlifting, going on trails, painting, reading fiction novels, and has a photography business on the side.

Ashton will accept clients starting mid-May.  You can get on her waitlist by reaching out here!
