Description
Anxiety is one of the number one presenting concerns I work with within my practice. According to the CDC, more than six million children struggle with anxiety, with numbers increasing significantly year to year. If you are a parent who’s child struggles with shutting down, feeling overwhelmed, refusing to engage, is tearful, angry, or easily frustrated, they could have symptoms of anxiety. In an effort to make anxiety support more accessible for families, I created this fun, easy to digest, informative guide for parents and their children. Topics include the neuroscience of anxiety, developing a framework for understanding and managing anxiety, original interventions, and a specialized resource list. The age range for this guide is best suited for children 12 and below. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly and I am happy to help!
This is not a substitute for therapy. This is meant as a self-help guide for parents.
